Why can't I hear her?

So even though our apartment is small I sometimes use the monitor during the day so I don't miss her talking to herself and cooing at the butterflies on her wall. Well it had been awhile since she had gone down for her nap so I crept in there to find her playing with her monitor. Somehow she unplugged it and was gnawing on it! She makes me laugh!

Today at the Target I was playing with a retractable walking stick and swinging it around and it shot out of the sleeve and flew about 30 feet FAST almost spearing a little mexican girl! Robyn and I almost starting laughing so hard that we knew that we would get busted. So we ran to the next isle so nobody would see who did it... Next time I wont miss. !!! JUST KIDDING, no but seriously I won't!

Here is a pic of Melia in her new fav place to be...either behind my head or Daddy's. She loves to pull at my hair and squeal with delight as I cry in pain! She has a strong grip. But she loves it...she tries to pull at Daddy's hair but he keeps shaving it so she is really just giving him a scalp scratch! I want everyone to read Dan's racing blog about his race last night. He did AWESOME! I seriously almost threw up at the end of it b/c I ran so hard to the finish and was yelling so hard. He broke away and was ahead of everyone and was sprinting to the finish. It was so exciting and he totally motivates me to train hard! I won't say more b/c you should read about it from him. But I just want to say that I think that was the best I have seen him do. He was looking so strong out there. Melia and I are so proud!!!

The Spurs

Well its about time we posted something about this, and I don't know why I am doing it now, or even at all but we live in San Antonio and as most of you know the Spurs recently won the NBA championship for the fourth time. I just thought it would be interesting to know that people driving around still over a month later have their back windows in their cars painted up and they are still flying those window flags. So today's poll question is ... "How long should you wait to take down your teams flag and clean your windows? "

The Little Gym

We have been taking Melia to The Little Gym on Thursdays for the last 3 weeks. Her cousin Nash started going when he was 5 months and I was so hoping S.A. would have one! She is in the Bugs class and she is the youngest and smallest in the class but she loves it. She loves watching the older babies and she even has made a few friends. A little 9 month old crawled up to her last week and Melia was so happy. She was smiling and she was touching her face. Luckily the little girl didn't have hair b/c it would have been pulled on by Peanut. I love The LIttle Gym. I think it totally helps little ones with their strength and coordination. She loves to do rolls down the little triangle mat. She starts on her back then just log rolls slowly down. Maybe she will be a gymnast like her mommy?!

Melia's new love

Melia LOVES water bottles now. She loves to watch us drink from one while reaching up trying to grab it. I took these pics at Dan's last race. I told her it was too big for her to play with but obviously I was wrong. This was the sunset as we drive home from the race last Thursday. It was a fun race and we always love watching Daddy on his bike!

Babies R Us Rules!!

I have discovered Babies R Us and I love it! I have never been to one before being that there was only Wal Mart in Hilo for me to shop at for Melia! So I bought a few outfits for her and I thought I would post some pics of a few of them. I love dressing up my little girl!
