I will do it my way, thank you!

I have been trying for about 6 weeks now to start Melia on some solids. She HATES rice cereal so I have been trying oatmeal. She will play with it in her mouth before it all comes back out. I play games with to try to get her to open her mouth but she seems to be too smart for those b/c she just looks at me like I am crazy. Plus she wants to hold the spoon. She wants to do everything on her own. So the other day I put the spoon down and she went at the bowl with her hands and face! She was putting her face in the bowl and scooping it up with her hands. DId she eat any? I don't think so! But she sure had fun pretending too! I am going to try mixing some pears with it and see what happens b/c this little girl just won't eat!! I have some video of it I will post later.

You've got your hands full Robyn! If she's stubborn now, just wait to she hits puberity. You're in for it. Melia is getting so cute! I can't wait to see her in person.

Melia has a mind of her own . . . um,m,m,m!!! Does the apple fall too far from the tree? Too cute and so you, Robyn! I'm sharing this in a loving, motherly way . . . your turn has come!!!

Remember the "tights and leotards"?

Yes I believe we have a stubborn little Peanut. She knows what she wants that's for sure. I told Dan after hearing stories about him as a baby as toddler and hearing stories about me that we are totally in for it! Yeah..she ate some pears with oatmeal twice!!

Taylor did that for awhile...just was not interested in food or opening her mouth unless it was a bottle with a nipple! Now she likes it...just takes a few times...don't give up

Yeah, don't give in and just give her the sweet stuff...fruits and all that...I can't see a child of yours having poor eating habits though. Not with two active healthy parents like you and Dan!
