That's it?! You're done?

I thought I would just put up a bunch of pics of Melia from over the last few days. She turned 9 months on Sat and decided on that very day that she was now old enough to not nurse anymore. That was that. No heads up or anything. She had been nursing along fine even though she got distracted easily and then realized she had better things to do! I thought at first something was for sure wrong with her but no. She is just growing up. I am pretty sad I have to say! I loved nursing her and I will totally miss it.
She had her 9 month check up today and she gained over a pound! She is now 15lbs13oz!! 2 more and she will be in a size 3 diaper!! As you can see from the pics she gets into everything and is curious about everything. She loves to stand on her own and took a few steps on Thanksgiving and today! We went to the mall over the week end she sat on Santa's lap and didn't cry! She got a pretty serious look on her face though. We will be going to San Diego to visit everyone and can't wait for her to meet my fav Santa who lives there in Poway!

I know there are a lot of pics. I don't know how to do the collage or slideshow yet. Any help on that would be cool!

Thanksgiving Morning

My mom came in for Melia's first Turkey Day and it was so much fun! We had a lot of fun in the kitchen mainly making fun of how lazy I am in it! My mom took a lot of good pics that I will have to get from her b/c I realize I didn't take that many! This was Melia yesterday morning just crawling around and then at breakfast. I love her little outfit so I had to put some pics of it up! Hope everyone had a great day!!

Fun fall day

Here are some more pics of Melia in the yard. She loves to smell, taste, tear the leaves. She has started crab walking also and can stand on her own for a short time. I think she is getting another tooth also! I know I don't write much on my blogs but I will...later! I am usually too tired to think about anything by the time I get on the computer which is at the end of the day. But everything is going awesome over here! Melia is a happy sweet little girl and we have a ton of fun everyday. My training is going awesome too. I have been running and have managed to get out on a few rides also which felt great! It is still warm here...doesn't feel like fall except on a few days here and there but I like the warm sun so it's ok!

Dallas Trip

Ok so this was late getting posted but Dan Melia and I went to Big D last week end for the girl's trip. I don't have any pics of that but they are all on Jeni and Libby's blog. It was a ton of fun! I also got to see my friend Jennifer. She has been my best friend since junior high and we hadn't seen each other in 7 years, I think. She had just had her first baby, Ava Anne! I got to hold her and she is so precious and beautiful! Congrats to Jennifer and Jason!!

Melia's new thing is to take out all of her wipes or all of her diapers. She loves it! I know this is super dark but it is cute!

Melia LOVES this and will walk up and down the hall over and over! Sorry, Mom, but she has no cute clothes on in any of the vidoes. I will work on that!
