I thought I would just put up a bunch of pics of Melia from over the last few days. She turned 9 months on Sat and decided on that very day that she was now old enough to not nurse anymore. That was that. No heads up or anything. She had been nursing along fine even though she got distracted easily and then realized she had better things to do! I thought at first something was for sure wrong with her but no. She is just growing up. I am pretty sad I have to say! I loved nursing her and I will totally miss it.
She had her 9 month check up today and she gained over a pound! She is now 15lbs13oz!! 2 more and she will be in a size 3 diaper!! As you can see from the pics she gets into everything and is curious about everything. She loves to stand on her own and took a few steps on Thanksgiving and today! We went to the mall over the week end she sat on Santa's lap and didn't cry! She got a pretty serious look on her face though. We will be going to San Diego to visit everyone and can't wait for her to meet my fav Santa who lives there in Poway!
I know there are a lot of pics. I don't know how to do the collage or slideshow yet. Any help on that would be cool!

Oh cool, I didn't realize she was still nursing! Sad for you...Oh well, just have another one! hee hee...You look good too by the way...I want to talk to you so give me your number and I'll call you k? I'm not even sure how many hours apart we are. I'm six hours behind san diego time so...
I am sooo proud of her for standing and walking and growing up and gaining weight! She is being soo good! I know stopping nursing is hard. I thought something was wrong with nat too but she just wasn't into it anymore!! I cant wait to kiss on her again! Also I love her little tights and does she have socks on on top of them??!! haha she is sooo sweet!
I can really tell whe is filling out, expecially in the picture in black. And by the way Robin, I put the picture of you and Melia on my computer screen, and it's going to stay there for a long time. ( I think you know why!!)Love you guys!!
She is too cute!!! I hope I will be able to meet her when you are down.
She is getting so big!!! Next thing you know she will be talking!
