I never get to write on this blog anymore and I know you all miss my funny jokes and story's and my bad grammar and spelling misteaks but I thought i would just write a little bit about life (we have another blog by the way you can all visit if you have a second or two). I just wanted to comment on Robyn and how awesome she is. I have been very busy with school this semester due to the huge load I am taking and the long commute in to Manoa everday (1.5 hours each way). My days are spent thinking, driving and sometimes riding my bike. I dont get to see Melia and Robyn much anymore, only about two or three hours a day, and it has been very hard for me. But I love coming home everyday from school because I get to see my two most favorite people in the world and for about an hour or two I get to play with Melia and then when she goes to bed, I get to sit with Robyn and hang out, usually watching TV and eating dinner together, but then she goes to bed and I have to study organic chemistry for another hour or so before I get to bed. It actually really sucks because I love spending 24/7 with her and now its like 12 or 14 hours a week total. I think about my girls all day long at school and while driving/riding. Robyn takes such good care or melia and she is always in such a good mood when I get home, I know they have been having fun. All Robyn talks about is Melia and funny things she does, or cute things she is starting to say. Melia calls her Mommy, which is cool because most of us are called ga-ga, which originally was grandma, now its the name for everyone that isnt mommy! Anyways I just wanted to say that Robyn is an awesome mom. She has been getting up every morning of her pregnancy to run (3-5miles) and then lifts weights for a half hour, then if I have time to watch Melia in the afternoon she swims for 30 or so minutes at the big olympic pool up in Mililani. I have really enjoyed watching her this year and seeing the drive and determination she has to be stronger, faster, better, etc. She really is a role model for me. She is the most disciplined person I know, and she is teaching Melia well.
Melia does everything Robyn does. They shower the same...that is right, Melia prefers to shower than to bath... She dries off the same at the beach, puts lotion on the same, eats all the same stuff (egg whites, oatmeal, turkey burgs, sweet potats) Melia is always active and wakes up at about 6:30-7 every morning ready to go, just like her mommy. She also has her mommy's dark brown skin and blonde hair, very unlike my pink pale skin.
Thanks Robyn for all you do!!!
I can't wait for our son to be born this next month sometime. I have been anticipating this day and looking forward to the trip to the hospital for months now. Melia's birth was so exciting and amazing, that I am really stoked to get that call from Robyn, or the wakeup slap in the middle of the night and here that its time to go to the hospital!!! I want to be a good coach to you Robyn and I promise to try to help as much as I can!
Robyn you are awesome! I am proud that you want to have our son naturally, you will do awesome!!!
